Modular Workbench

This download includes two 25 page PDF step by step build guides for the Alm Fab Workbench. One PDF is in imperial measurements and the other is in metric.

ALSO I have included designs for making the support frames out of either metal or wood, so if you don’t have a welder in your shop, you can still build this workbench.

This design is modular so if you have a need for a larger or smaller workbench in your shop, it’s really easy to make adjustments to the plans. I show you some options in the PDF and tell you how to make the material calculations.

There is a cut list for all the parts included in the PDF along with a list of materials required to make the workbench.

Specs:

When complete, the workbench is 60" (1524mm) wide by 25" (635mm) deep and 36" (915mm) from the floor to the work surface. The back panel is 30" (762mm) and the whole desk is about 68" (1727mm) tall. It uses 2-3 sheets of 3/4” (18mm) Ply, 1 sheet of 1/2” (12mm) plywood, and 74 ft (22.5M) of steel tubing. You can sub out the metal frame for a wood one, and for that you’ll need an extra sheet of 1/2” (12mm) plywood.
