Japanese-Inspired Console Table - PRESALE
PRESALE Metric and Imperial
This Japanese-inspired Knock-Together Console Table was designed as a sofa table for our house to make setting down drinks convenient and as a place for our cat to hang out. It would also look great as an entryway table or a hall table. It’s designed with glue-less joinery so it can be taken apart if needed.
The table is 101” long, 9” wide, and 27” tall, HOWEVER the plans show you how to change the dimensions easily to make it fit your couch, entryway or whatever space you’re building it for.
When I constructed it I only had 6ft boards and since it’s nearly 9ft long I stitched two panels together with a Japanese Scarf joint. This is optional but the plans do cover how to make it, and includes digital templates.
This project is Intermediate project (higher difficulty if you use the optional Japanese scarf joint on the table top). It requires a certain amount of comfort with precision joinery as well as a standard set of woodworking tools.
These plans are in Presale until JUNE 30. I presale my newest plans to make sure they are perfected before sending them out. After purchasing you will receive a digital download that is a confirmation of your purchase. Once the plans are complete I will email them to you directly from info@almfab.com (please check your spam blockers if you don’t receive it.)
